$RP is the main research currency of Dupestopia. It can't be transferred or traded and can only be used at Improvement Station.

Producing $RP

Players can earn $RP in 3 ways:

• passively by using Think Tank

• by swapping $WATT for $RP

• by claiming free Daily $RP Rewards

Think Tank produces $RP by burning $WATT at a ratio of 1:10, and begins production only when Battery's $WATT capacity has been reached. $RP production rate depends on your Genewattor power output (including bonus production from upgrades and $FOOD) and the Research upgrade.

Claiming $WATT will pause $RP production until Battery capacity is reached again.

By making $RP non-transferrable we ensure players must burn their $WATT to progress through the game, while also making it impossible for burned $WATT to affect the market in any way.

All $RP tokens spent on upgrades are burned.🔥

Math 🧠

The exact formula for $RP production is:

$$rpPerSec = wattPerSec * 0.1 * \frac{100+(researchLvl*5)}{100}$$

Daily $RP Reward calculation simply depends on the number of days the player has claimed:

$$dailyRpReward=10*dayCount$$

$RP swap mechanic follows this formula, where swapRatio is equal to 30 (and may be adjusted in the future):

$$rpSwapped = \frac{wattSwapped}{swapRatio}$$
